Cool Cover

Just the cover would make me want to read this book. But luckily I didn't buy it only for that reason, but it sure helped. I started reading this book 2 years ago. I stopped for some reason. But I am now looking forward to finishing were I left off. I have started reading a lot of books in my past and I am ready to start finishing things, not just leaving them half done.

Hemingway

Over Christmas I bought this book to try and expand my collection of classic literature. So, a few weeks ago I decided to start reading To Have and Have Not. It was a very entertaining read, one of those suspenseful, page turning dramas. He drew me into loving and caring about the character. Made me want the best for him despite what he was doing. And in the end he just...well, I won't ruin it for you just in case you decide to read this classic one day .

Eventful

Decided to work another track meet and put a few more dollars in my pocket. I somehow managed to not take any pictures during the meet, but I did get a few things on video. I was watching the pole vault event and noticed that the same guy kept messing up. So I decided to film his approach till the landing to see if I captured anything special. Nothing amazing happened, only a not so good attempt to clear the bar. I'd give him 10 points though if he was aiming to kick the bar.

Jack Frost

He is not giving up on winter just yet. We thought that winter was over, but he wanted one last go at winter. He didn't want just a chilling over, he wanted snow and lots of it. I would like to point out that at 10 o'clock last night there was absolutely no snow on the ground. If anyone forgot this is still Indiana weather and it does whatever it pleases. Hopefully though this should be the very last snow that we get.

Toys

We are finally starting to mess around with cool stuff in one of my classes. We are going to start using a keypad and even this display soon. I was thinking about making a side scrolling shooting game on it. I was thinking maybe a zombie game. I'm sure I could pull it off.

Busy

This may have been the most productive 24 hour span I've had in a while. I started if off early by staying up late finishing a letter for a class. I then woke up early, cut my hair, made breakfast, showed and looked for a job. All before noon. In between classes: made lunch and fixed up my resume. After dance class: a solid workout, wrote a cover letter and emailed a resume, spaghetti dinner and finished up with all other homework. A very good day if a say so myself. I even managed to find a few artists that I instantly fell in love with.

Btw, you probably wouldn't be able to notice how much I cut my hair, even if you saw what it looked like before.

I received on of those puzzle a day calenders for Christmas this year. I ofter just ignore most of the puzzles. I'm not a big fan of the anagrams or crosswords. But when I see that it deals with math I try to give it a go. Today was one of those days. The best part was that I even managed to get it right. You can even try it for yourself. Just ignore my scribbles on the bottom.

Rain, Sleet Snow

A person has to be insane or very apt to change to live in Indiana. How often does it do all 3 with 1 short hour? The best part is that it had rained the entire day. So car was solid ice after everything started to freeze over.

Homework

Since I spent the entire Saturday at the meet getting nothing done, I have to spend Sunday catching up on things. Luckily my schedule is on the light side this year. I completed a take on test that I had and also read on Hellenistic Philosophy(HP). HP can be summed up to saying that we are here for pleasure seeking. Everything we do can simplified to looking for gratification. I won't bore you with the details, just a little tease.

Conference

Track season is a good time of the year. It means that spring is on the way and great weather outside. Soon we will, hang the coats up for the year, along with bringing out the umbrellas.

I had a great time at the meet today. I didn't run, but I did get paid to help out a bit and cheer on my friends as the exerted themselves. So all in all a very wonderful day.

Groundhog

It looks as though the groundhog was right this year. It has been barely 2 weeks and we have gone from 0 degree weather to 50 and sunny. Just 2 days ago I was slipping on 2 inches of ice, now I have to try and find the snow that was hiding in shadows.

Magic

Somethings in life are just hard to explain. It is often easiest just to say that it is magic. But luckily I hopefully know what is going on, because I am the one that will be making the magic happen.

Seeing

Often times it is hard to see things if your not looking. It may be that your looking from the wrong side, or in a bad light. Does that change what it is or just how it appears. Can we ever really know how something or someone is?

Emblem

Sometimes life gets a little bit hectic. But I am able to find so humor and free time to do awesomely creative things. Once I was finished embedding the dragon on my notebook, I noticed that it reminded my of the book from The NeverEnding Story. I wish they made more books with distinct covers on them, instead of 2D pictures.

Pizza

There is no better way to have class than eat pizza and watch a movie. It only takes 7 pizzas to satisfy 25 boys 2 hours after lunch. I would hate to see how many it would take if anyone was actually hungry.

Clear Skies

I like to watch planes fly by and watch as the contrail dissipate behind them. I find it often relaxing and passes the time by quickly.

Spring

Looks as though spring is on its way. A bright and sunny day today. Time to start melting all of this snow.

Bedtime Snack.

This is probably one of the best snacks before sleeping possible. Not only is it almost good for you but it also is suppose to help you fall asleep at night. If you can't tell what it is, its cottage cheese with croutons for toppings.
